University of East Anglia BabyBreathe Smoking Study
Helping pregnant women stay smoke-free
The University of East Anglia approached us to bolster their recruitment for the BabyBreathe study. This clinical trial was looking for women in their third trimester of pregnancy who had recently quit smoking, to test a new package of support called BabyBreathe™. BabyBreathe™ aims to help women stay smoke free following the birth of a baby. As this recruitment criteria was particularly niche, we were confident that targeted ads would help the team engage potentially eligible participants.
We set up paid media campaigns on Google, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook and Instagram. We saw a great average conversion rate of 10.92% and a total of 3,484 participants sent to the study team. This ensured the team hit their recruitment target, having been behind schedule before working with us.
