COVID-19 human challenge trial
After success on other infectious disease trials, we were asked to help on the COVCHIM02 clinical trial. This study involves giving healthy volunteers COVID-19 in a controlled way to learn more about the disease.
This research study, run in conjunction with Imperial College London, was looking for healthy adults aged 18-40.
We recommended running the ad campaigns on Meta, Google and Snapchat to reach a range of individuals. These platforms were likely to favour a younger demographic, in line with the study’s criteria.
We set the campaign live in relatively short bursts. This helped the study team cope with demand, and also allowed us to optimise the strategy based on the ongoing results.
