Understanding how rare genetic syndroms affect children

The GenROC study is hoping to improve our understanding of how rare genetic syndromes affect the way children grow, their physical health and their development. The University of Bristol research team are looking for children who match their strict eligibility criteria.

Advertising on both Google and Meta, we managed to find over 500 potential participants who expressed interest. For such a niche population, we were pleased with the conversion rate reaching over 17% on Google.

We could also see in the organic engagement with the ads that people were interested, but self-screening as ineligible due to not meeting the specified list of genetic conditions.
