Exploring the effect of nutritional supplements

The medical school at the University of Nottingham was researching the effects of nutritional supplements on muscle recovery. The study was focused on older adults. Participants took HMB and olive fruit extract to see how this affected their recovery from eccentric exercise.

To take part, you simply had to be a healthy adult aged 60-75. The participants had to be willing to travel to Royal Derby Hospital, so we made sure to use specific geotargeting around the study site, meaning only people within a commutable radius would be served the campaign.

In just a few weeks of advertising, the ads hit 67,928 impressions, sending 396 interested individuals to the researchers. They asked us just two weeks in to pause the campaign to give the team time to catch up with EOIs. Study lead Pardeep said he was 'delighted' with the responses.
