Washington State University ZARRA Alcohol Use Disorder Study

Recruiting people with alcohol use disorder to try a new treatment

Washington State University and The Community Health Association of Spokane (CHAS) are partnering to conduct the ZARRA study. Their aim is to evaluate the ability of a medication called zonisamide to decrease alcohol use among treatment-seeking adults with an alcohol use disorder.

We're providing long-term support for the project, using digital marketing to help the research team find eligible participants. We created bespoke assets for the study; and we've used these in adverts across Google, Meta and X.

Over the course of the campaign, we've delivered a steady stream of 26,769 potential participants to the WSU research team.
