About the study
About the study
It is common that we experience periods of reduced physical activity during our life, either due to illness, injury or seasonal changes to lifestyle, which may affect our health and wellbeing. This 6-month study aims to find out what changes occur in the body when physical activity is decreased for 3 months, then increased for 3 months, and how long the changes take to happen.
