Around half of people with anorexia nervosa experience depression, but standard antidepressants often don’t work well for them. This study is testing a medication that may offer a better option.

You may be eligible to take part in this study if:
You've been diagnosed with anorexia for over three years
You're experiencing depression that has not responded to treatment
You weigh more than 40kg
You have a body mass index of more than 14kg/m²
You're willing to attend in-person study visits in London

If you decide to take part, you will have 13 clinical appointments over a period of 6-7 months
Ten of these appointments will be in-person: a screening visit, eight in-person dosing sessions over four weeks, and one further visit at four weeks
Online appointments will take place at baseline, at three months and at six months
You will also be invited to take part in qualitative interviews and diary entries about your experience of the study
Participants will be compensated up to £190 for taking part, with travel expenses covered up to £30 per visit.
