Researchers at the Medical Research Network are testing a new medicine called depemokimab to find out whether it can improve symptoms and quality of life for adults living with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
If you're interested in taking part, click below to find out if you're eligible.

The study lasts between 1 and 2 years depending on when you join. You'll receive an injection of either depemokimab or a placebo every 6 months — you have a 2 in 3 chance of receiving the active drug. Neither you nor the study team will know which you receive.
You'll attend clinic visits approximately once a month (up to 15 in person), with some visits done by phone or video. You'll also complete a short daily symptom diary on a handheld device provided by the study team. You'll continue taking your usual COPD medications throughout.
You may be eligible if you:
Are between 40 and 80 years old
Have been diagnosed with COPD
Are based in the UK
You will receive a stipend of up to £100 per study visit for your time. Travel costs, parking, and meals related to study visits will also be reimbursed.
COPD affects millions of people in the UK. Your participation could help bring a new treatment one step closer to approval.
