Researchers at Cardiff University are conducting a study to find out if adding testosterone to your HRT regimen could help reduce any remaining symptoms of perimenopause or menopause.

You may be eligible to take part if you:

You may be eligible to take part if you:

  • Have been taking HRT for the last 6 months

  • Are planning to stay on the same dose for the next 12 months

  • Have symptoms of perimenopause or menopause despite taking HRT

WHAT'S INVOLVED?

  • Participants will use a cream every day for 12 months.

  • The cream will contain either testosterone or a placebo. A placebo looks the same, but has no testosterone in it.

  • Participants will also have blood tests, and answer short questionnaires on a phone app.
