King's College London Gestational Diabetes Study
Survey for women with gestational diabetes
King's College London approached us to help them recruit for the Gestational Diabetes study. The study involved surveying women across the UK who currently have, or have had in the past five years, gestational diabetes. They are hoping to understand the experiences of these women, so that they can improve care during and after pregnancy.
We built a social media advertising campaign to help the team find participants from typically underserved populations.
We ran the campaign on Facebook and Instagram, using detailed targeting to direct the algorithm towards people who might be eligible.
The ads were seen on nearly 300,000 occasions with nearly 10,000 people clicking through to the study. The team informed us that they received 1800 responses to their survey, and we helped the team achieve a 15%+ representation from underserved populations.
